Mere Brow Gundogs and Dog Training Academy offers professional, effective dog training services based on modern, positive reinforcement methods. We offer one-to-one and group training for domestic and working dogs of all levels.

Although we specialise in gundog training, we undertake to train all breeds in obedience, including home visits to resolve behavioural issues. Our aim is to train successful dogs and their owners whilst providing a happy and positive training experience for handlers and dogs.

We also offer training programmes providing intensive training for your dog to correct behavioural issues and form a foundation for future training.

Mere Brow Gundogs and Dog Training Academy offers a high-quality dog-walking service and help ensure your dog gets the essential exercise they need to stay healthy and happy. In addition to our dog walking services, we also offer puppy care and day care services.

My name is Paul Johnson and I have been training dogs for 30 years, including my own pack of gundogs. Whether you are looking to train your dog for working tests or trials, as a shooting companion for the field or simply want to learn the skills necessary for a happy and rewarding partnership with your dog, then we can help. I am passionate about working with dogs and enjoy every aspect of training them and teaching other people to get the best from their dogs.
